Lord of the Rings: 20 Years Wiser

Fargo: A retrospective of five stories

With the new season having been on the horizon, I decided to (re)watch almost all of Fargo this January. Yesterday my journey culminated in the phenomenal finale of Season 5, and all I can say is: this TV show is absolutely brilliant (mostly). But let’s backtrack a little. The Wilhelm Whinny

If you’ve ever seen a movie with a horse in it, you’ve probably heard it: the Wilhelm Whinny. I have no idea if there’s a real name for it, but I’m just gonna call it that in allusion to the famous Wilhelm Scream. Doomsdaylight: Heroes

Yesterday I finished watching Heroes. It’s been a long journey. Sorry for this geeky post. I started watching this show exactly a week ago, and since then I’ve been consuming it like a zombie with the result that I now feel like someone ate my brain. Dead Men Tell No Tales (not even At World’s End)

I have seen Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End last night, and my expectations were pretty much confirmed – the movie didn’t really make sense. Everything you always wanted to know about time zones but were afraid to ask

Some time around last Tuesday or so I had this idea to make a wallpaper for my desktop that shows a map of the world divided in it’s time zones (having relatives all over the world and stuff like that).
