Back back on the horse

Long time readers of my blog might recall my post Back on the horse from 12 years ago. I recommend reading that post for some necessary background information on my history with horseback riding and owning my own horses back in the day. Well, by now it’s been a very long 24 years since I had my own horse, Daisy, and it’s been 12 years since I last rode a horse during the lessons I mentioned in my previous post on this topic. I didn’t actually continue to go riding at the place that I went to 12 years ago […]

Back on the horse

If you have been stalking me and my blog since it’s early days, you may remember me mentioning my horse Daisy a few times. But I doubt both, so I’ll be glad to tell the whole story again. YouTube has once again been a great help, and about an hour later I created a somewhat crooked swatch. Afterwards I tried my luck with a granny square, which still looks a bit crooked, but I think I’ve […]

Stockholm and the Land of the Vikings

I have spent the last couple of days in the amazing city of Stockholm, Sweden. I went there on my own. Right before I left, not really knowing what to expect, I had a few paranoid doubts about whether I’ll like it there, whether I’ll be totally bored and just wanna go home. I wasn’t, instead I was completely overwhelmed by how beautiful that city is! Both Stockholm and Sweden are stunning and on top of that the weather was perfect (I got sunburned!). And everything is in Swedish! Swedish people everywhere! How exciting! Anyway, here’s my diary, complete with […]
